Voltarol is used to reduce inflammation and relieve the pain of injuries, strains, sprains and bruising to tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. It is also used to treat arthritis and backache, as well as a number of other conditions as determined by a doctor.
Voltarol is to be used as directed by a doctor. To avoid stomach upsets take Voltarol with food. While taking Voltarol, avoid the use of antacids that contain magnesium.
If a dose is missed, it can be taken as soon as you remember, as long as it does not clash with the next scheduled dose. In this case, rather skip the missed dose. Never take a double dose.
Voltarol can cause dizziness which may worsen if taken in conjunction with alcohol and other medications. Voltarol is to be used with caution. In the early stages of treatment avoid driving or performing any potentially dangerous activity in case of an adverse reaction. If symptoms persist, or get worse, contact your doctor immediately. Voltarol should only be used by the person for whom it was prescribed. Never increase or decrease the dosage of Voltarol without first consulting a doctor.
